On what seemed like an ordinary morning, 6-year-old Joyce cried out in pain as her mother tried to help her change clothes. Her skin had blistered overnight — raw, red, and bleeding. What should’ve been a simple daily routine had become a moment of agony.

Doctors diagnosed Joyce with a rare and cruel condition: Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) — also known as "Butterfly Skin Disease". Her skin is so fragile that even a gentle touch can cause blisters, wounds, and unbearable pain.

Her parents, were heartbroken. Joyce needs constant care, special bandages, pain relief, and hospital visits that cost over $2,000 per month — far beyond what her family can afford.

Joyce is fighting silently every day. Her smile hides the pain, but she’s growing weaker.
